Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [PLACEHOLDER: company legal name] ("WideRig", "we", "us") and govern your use of the WideRig mobile app, the WideRig Telegram bot, the owner dashboard and this website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Safety first. WideRig is a driving aid. Your permit is the legal document, and you are responsible for following it, road signs, posted restrictions and all traffic and trucking laws. Routes, mileage, restrictions and other information in the app may be incomplete or wrong. Always check them against your permit and conditions on the road. Do not use the app in a way that distracts you while driving.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and, if you drive, hold the licenses and qualifications your loads require. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that company to these Terms.

2. Your account

Give accurate information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Tell us promptly at [PLACEHOLDER: [email protected]] if you suspect unauthorized use.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).

3. The Service

WideRig reads permits and rate confirmations, builds truck routes, tracks trips, provides an AI assistant and a fleet dashboard.
Routes use third-party map data (Google, HERE) which can be outdated or inaccurate. Automatically read documents and AI answers can contain mistakes.
We may change, add or remove features. The Service is currently provided free of charge in an early-access period; if we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and you can choose whether to subscribe.

4. Location and tracking

During an active trip the app uses your location, including in the background, to guide you, update trip statuses and show the load's position to your company. If you drive for a carrier or fleet that uses WideRig, you understand that its owners and dispatchers can see this information. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the documents and information you upload ("Your Content").
You give us a limited license to store, process and display Your Content only to provide the Service to you and your company.
You confirm you have the right to upload Your Content, and that it does not violate any law or anyone's rights.

6. Acceptable use

Do not: misuse or try to break into the Service; reverse engineer it except as allowed by law; use it to track a person without their consent; upload malware or unlawful content; resell the Service without our permission; or use it in a way that could harm drivers or the public.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and the WideRig name and logo, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; no other rights are granted.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Google, HERE, Anthropic, Telegram, Apple and Google app stores. Their terms may also apply to you, and we are not responsible for their services.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or other users. Sections 5, 7 and 10–13 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ROUTES, MILEAGE, RESTRICTIONS, EXTRACTED DATA OR AI ANSWERS ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR LEGAL FOR YOUR LOAD, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR FINES, PENALTIES, CITATIONS, DELAYS, LOST PROFITS, OR DAMAGE TO VEHICLES, LOADS OR PROPERTY ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or of any law, or from Your Content.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [PLACEHOLDER: state], USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [PLACEHOLDER: county, state], and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
